On July 22, 2026, YN2-TECH (Thailand) and KAWAGUCHI SEIKI of Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) to promote education, research, and innovation in food processing, connecting classroom learning with industrial technology under the Factory Classroom concept.

The collaboration is designed to give students and academic staff the opportunity to learn using real production machinery. KAWAGUCHI SEIKI is providing food processing machinery along with related knowledge and technology, YN2-TECH (Thailand) is supporting technical operations and maintenance, and KMITL is providing the space, utilities, and personnel needed for teaching and research.

The Factory Classroom concept links theoretical knowledge with practical application, giving students the opportunity to understand food processing procedures firsthand and apply that experience to future product development and research work.

The signing marks a meaningful step forward in Thai–Japanese collaboration between academia and industry, aimed at developing skilled personnel and supporting innovation that meets the needs of the food industry going forward.
