Official Visit to an Agricultural Processing Machinery Demonstration under the RaiWay Project for Sustainable Food Industry Development

We welcomed executives from the Ministry of Industry to visit our factory in Chachoengsao Province, where they toured the GX project demonstration facility and observed a live demonstration of agricultural processing machinery.

On Tuesday, 20 January 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Nakamura Kiko (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with YN2-TECH Co., Ltd., welcomed a delegation of senior executives from the Ministry of Industry for a visit and demonstration of agricultural produce processing machinery at the new factory of Nakamura Kiko (Thailand) Co., Ltd. located in Chachoengsao Province.

 

On this occasion, the company was honored to welcome:

Deputy Minister of Industry

  • Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol,
    Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry

together with other distinguished executives.

The visit was also attended by representatives from:

  • The Department of Industrial Promotion
  • The Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry

who participated in the visit and exchanged views on the development of Thailand’s food processing industry.

 Visit to the RaiWay Project

This visit focused on the presentation of the RaiWay Project, a collaborative initiative in agricultural raw-material processing technology that integrates Japanese expertise with Thailand’s industrial sector.

The program included demonstrations of:

  • Agricultural produce processing using a screw press by Kawaguchiseiki Co., Ltd.
  • Moisture reduction and value-added processing technologies using an EVAPORATOR and Spray Dryer by OKAWARA MFG. CO., LTD.
  • Waste management approaches in the production process using 3D printing technology
  • Systems for calculating and evaluating carbon dioxide (CO₂) emission reductions using Wattxplorer by Kyokko Electric Co., Ltd.

These initiatives align with the principles of Green Transformation (GX) and support the advancement of sustainable industrial development.

Toward Thai-Japanese Collaboration for the Future of the Food Industry

The objectives of this visit were to:

  • Exchange knowledge and expertise in food processing technologies
  • Promote efficient resource utilization and waste reduction
  • Support carbon reduction within the industrial sector
  • Establish frameworks for collaboration among the public sector, private sector, and partners from Japan

These efforts aim to enhance the global competitiveness of Thailand’s food industry while addressing future sustainability policies and goals.
